Don't you just love the holidays, all the decorating and cheerful spirits, I know I do. Every year I look forward to finding new and creative ways to decorate my home for each season and holiday. Yes I know I am one of those habitancy who decorates for all Forth of July, Birthday you name it. One thing I noticed is that it is hard to find high capability decoration's with a unique look for the holidays. My five all time favorites are: quilted trees, quilted gift boxes, and dissimilar sized and shaped quilted ornaments. Each embellishment is a unique artistic piece, handcrafted and adds an extra elegance to your home.
Quilted trees make great embellishment for any holiday especially during the winter season. You can find these trees in sizes ranging from 6" all the way up to an phenomenal 24", glimmering with colorful crystals scattered all over and topped with a decorative bow. I like to pick a white tree to keep up for the whole winter season, giving my home a warm and cozy feel. The options are endless! What would look great with a quilted tree but a quilted gift box to set beside it. I prefer the larger quilted gift box's because it gives a more dramatic look to your home, also I don't want to end up with a bunch of small trinkets which will only add clutter.
The best way to decorate is to add pieces that will heighten you specific theme. Then there's ornaments, I just love ornaments and I don't mean just for Christmas all year round. Ornaments can be set out for every season like Halloween, Easter, Valentines day, Weddings or even Baby showers. You can put the ornaments on your Christmas tree or display them on a stand. Some of my larger ornaments that are 12" I like to hang from the ceiling, this looks really elegant. Quilted ornaments can also be found in dissimilar shapes for example Easter is fast approaching and I plan to place curious colorful quilted decorative eggs arranged in a earthenware basket colse to the house.
